At Northside we work for a recovery from addiction and substance abuse that will be long-term and lasting. Detoxification, implementation of a twelve-step model, therapy, counseling for patient and family, and a comprehensive plan for continuing sobriety after release are the foundations to treatment. We want patients and families to understand the nature of the unique dynamics and physical complications of their illness so that lifelong recovery is possible.
We aggressively treat the disease of chemical dependency with the intent to return people to happy, productive lives. The essence of treatment involves the patient movements toward self-assessment, self-understanding and self-implementation of an action plan.
