Pre-admission Testing at Archbold Ambulatory Care
Before undergoing a surgical procedure, your surgeon will want you to have
an examination and testing appointment at Archbold’s pre-admission
center located inside AAC. During your appointment, our pre-operative
team will ensure your heart, lungs, and other body systems are healthy
and strong enough for you to undergo a procedure and the anesthesia required.
During your visit pre-admission visit (also commonly referred to as pre-op
visit), we will let you know what to expect, what time you should arrive,
and where you will need to go on the day of your surgery. Your pre-admission
visit is intended to prepare you for your procedure in advance, so you
won’t have to worry about small details like what to bring and where
to park on the day of your procedure.

Our gastroenterologists perform outpatient, same-day colonoscopies and
upper endoscopy procedures for certain patients at Archbold Ambulatory
Care. A gastroenterologist will perform your GI procedure using state-of-the-art
technology in one of our designated outpatient endoscopy suites. From
registration to recovery, you will remain at Archbold Ambulatory Care.

Located inside the AAC, the Archbold Women’s Center is South Georgia’s
preferred destination for advanced, state-of-the-art imaging technology
and diagnostic testing services exclusively for women. From 3D mammography
to the Savi Scout Radar Localization System, the Archbold Women’s
Center is home to the most advanced breast imaging technology available
