My Best Workout to Date

This has been my third week of LB Fit, and I've had a few bumps in the road, but despite it all, this week was still a major win for me!

I only went to the BodyTrac three days this week instead of my usual five. Monday I worked out with a different trainer, Eric. He's a mountain of a man! His workout kicked my butt! I thought I wasn't going to be able to walk out the gym, but I did! He pushed me and showed me I could do it even when I thought I couldn't. That's what I love about my gym, BodyTrac. Everyone, and I mean everyone, supports you and pushes you to do your best and then some! It's so great to actually look forward to going to a gym instead of dreading it. It makes being able to get my health back on track so much easier!

This week I also had my check in with the dietitian, Hannah. She always gives me great new recipes to try, and when I leave her office, it's always with a smile on my face. She's so encouraging. This whole program is full of amazing people!

I also received good news from the check-in; I have lost five pounds and one inch in my arms and chest! I’m super happy with those results!

I also met my other goals, and I set new ones. These include, trying to stay away from sweets as much as possible, and being more active. I've been walking a minimum of three miles a day on top of the 30 minutes of cardio a day.

I did my best workout to date on Friday! I burned a little over 700 calories. My trainer Kolbey said that was great and that it's hard for a woman to even hit a 500 calorie burn. I was super proud of that! Yay me!
