During week 3, we went on a family vacation to St. Augustine. We rented a beach house there and it was so nice to spend quality time with my husband and son. Nutritionally, I didn't do my best, but I did manage to keep it in check for the most part. I didn't exercise as hard as I would have at the gym, but we did take long walks along the beach and spent a lot of time playing with our son in the water.
I can really start to feel the difference in my energy levels and my heat tolerance. Last summer, I would not have wanted to be at the beach in the heat for very long. This year I felt like a better mommy because I could actually play with my son without feeling so tired and exhausted. It meant so much for the three of us to have so much fun together as a family!
