Getting into the Running Spirit

Hi Guys!

I know it's been a while since I wrote in my blog. I just wanted to bring you up to date on my progress in the Live Better Fit program.

I'm still loving my workouts at Townie! Don't laugh, but I actually ran a half mile without stopping. That's a big deal for me because when I first started I couldn't run a quarter mile without stopping. I have no desire to run races or anything, but I would be so proud of myself if I could run 1 mile without stopping, or dying. I think I can do it.

I'm having trouble making it to the gym 3 days per week, and I know that I need to be consistent to get the results I want. I'm going to keep trying!

I know it's not a competition but Chris is doing so much better than me, and makes it to the gym 4 days per week consistently.

I've started logging my food intake in MyFitnessPal. It's really helping me to be more aware of what I'm eating. I highly recommend it. It's ree and it's easy. I really enjoyed eating at Longhorn Steakhouse with some of the other LB Fitters. I had the Longhorn Salmon, and it was delicious!
