I didn’t get to BodyTrac as much as I’d like this week. I had some personal illness that prohibited me from doing so. That being said, I made strides in my diet to reduce my calories in order to compensate for the reduced gym time. Looking forward to progress pictures and my next weigh in!

The Stomach Bug Can't Keep Me Down

I’ve been fighting off some stomach bug that’s been going around, and while I haven’t made it to BodyTrac this week. I can say that I also haven’t eaten all that much either. Aside from the “bug” I do feel the difference when not being in the gym. My overall mood and stress this week have just continued to grow. I’m going to take the much needed weekend to rest and recover so that I can start fresh on Monday!

Recently, I’ve been reminded of mental health and how it can be gravely influencing on our lives. My overall health isn’t just eating better and exercising, my mental health plays the largest roll. Week 2 has been a bit easier! Keeping my gym schedule at BodyTrac has worked out for me and picking the right foods is getting easier. I’ve found that starting the day with a good breakfast helps with keeping me on track for the day. Looking forward to continuing progress!

Week one has been quite the adjustment. The initial excitement for a “new, better me” was very motivating, until the time came to test myself.
