Loving New Vegetables!

With the program coming to an end, I’m excited to be where I am and hopeful for a future of healthy habits. I continue to try new foods, mostly veggies as they have always been a challenge for me, but I’m happy to say I love Brussel sprouts and butternut squash!

Consistency is Key

Checked in this week with Hannah and excited to see the progress I’ve made. Consistency has always been a challenge of mine, but with progress comes motivation! I’m definitely feeling motivated and keeping my eyes on my goals over this next month!

Getting the Hang of Things

I think I’m finally getting the hang of things, found my schedule and have been sticking to it. My go to meals are usually fish or chicken but I’ve been adding in more veggies and cutting my carbs. Hoping for more progress at the next weigh in!

New Week, New Goals

New week, new goals! I’ve been really good about eating my greens! Anyone who knows me knows I’m not the biggest fan of veggies, but through fun recipes to sneaking them in with protein shakes I’ve been getting in more than ever! I’m getting more time in at BodyTrac and it doesn’t hurt that my best friend runs the Saturday classes; it gives me a reason to get in a weekend work out and show my support for her!

Friday the 13th Isn't Stopping My Workouts

Felt like a weird week to me, maybe because Friday was the 13th and it was a full moon? But either way it didn’t stop me from getting 3 amazing workouts in at BodyTrac Thomasville! Not to mention some delicious dinners! My favorite go to when I don’t want to think about it is a salmon fillet and broccoli or asparagus, always good and so easy to make.

Trying New Things

I’m working hard and pushing myself these next few weeks hoping to breakthrough with my progress. I’ve made a goal of trying new things, because I find I get easily bored with doing the same old thing over and over again. I find hiding my leafy greens in my morning shakes has helped a lot. Anything that I can sneak into my diet is always a plus; I am the worst of the worst when it comes to being a picky eater!

Getting Back in the Swing of Things

I’m getting back to the routine and swing of things again. It’s hard to remember that sometimes life just doesn’t work out like we hope. I hit the gym hard this week, watched my eating and am feeling good about it!

Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

I’ve hit the halfway mark! It’s crazy how fast these three months have gone. Building heathy habits takes time, but I do feel like I’m on the right track. This program is pulling me out of my comfort zone in all aspects of my life, going on Facebook Live was something I never would have done. Putting myself and my journey out there for others, completely new for me! Can’t wait to see where I am at the end of all of this!

Getting Back on Schedule

Boy was I right about getting back on a schedule! This week I got back in the gym, and it reminded me what I was missing out on. Sometimes just the structure helps you keep it together! Thankful for my team at BodyTrac for pushing me and keeping me motivated!

Getting Back on "Trac"

Gosh, where does the time go! This week has been even more busy then the last few. Stress at work rolling out new software, having three side jobs in various parts of Thomasville, watching all types of animals and then taking care of my own zoo! Needless to say I haven’t made it to the gym this week and boy is it showing! There’s a lot to be said about having a routine both at BodyTrac and for your own time. Being out of the swing of things has seemed to take a toll on my...

Ready for the Weigh-In

I didn’t get to BodyTrac as much as I’d like this week. I had some personal illness that prohibited me from doing so. That being said, I made strides in my diet to reduce my calories in order to compensate for the reduced gym time. Looking forward to progress pictures and my next weigh in!

The Stomach Bug Can't Keep Me Down

I’ve been fighting off some stomach bug that’s been going around, and while I haven’t made it to BodyTrac this week. I can say that I also haven’t eaten all that much either. Aside from the “bug” I do feel the difference when not being in the gym. My overall mood and stress this week have just continued to grow. I’m going to take the much needed weekend to rest and recover so that I can start fresh on Monday!
