Boy was I right about getting back on a schedule! This week I got back in the gym, and it reminded me what I was missing out on. Sometimes just the structure helps you keep it together! Thankful for my team at BodyTrac for pushing me and keeping me motivated!
Gosh, where does the time go! This week has been even more busy then the last few. Stress at work rolling out new software, having three side jobs in various parts of Thomasville, watching all types of animals and then taking care of my own zoo! Needless to say I haven’t made it to the gym this week and boy is it showing! There’s a lot to be said about having a routine both at BodyTrac and for your own time. Being out of the swing of things has seemed to take a toll on my...

I didn’t get to BodyTrac as much as I’d like this week. I had some personal illness that prohibited me from doing so. That being said, I made strides in my diet to reduce my calories in order to compensate for the reduced gym time. Looking forward to progress pictures and my next weigh in!

I’ve been fighting off some stomach bug that’s been going around, and while I haven’t made it to BodyTrac this week. I can say that I also haven’t eaten all that much either. Aside from the “bug” I do feel the difference when not being in the gym. My overall mood and stress this week have just continued to grow. I’m going to take the much needed weekend to rest and recover so that I can start fresh on Monday!

First check-in was encouraging! Just knowing there is support and help when you need it makes all the difference. I’ve met part of my first goal and look forward to meeting more! I’ve upped my workout routine at BodyTrac and I’m trying to get in some extra active time in between. My co-workers are all very competitive, and when we’re not in the gym, we make up challenges in the down time at work to push each other. Having that in a work place, support at home and the endless...

This week I tried to remember that in my day-to-day activities, and to focus on my effort and continued efforts. I made it to BodyTrac three times this week, not only did it make me feel good for prioritizing myself, but it was also a healthy release of my negative attitude and...

Week one has been quite the adjustment. The initial excitement for a “new, better me” was very motivating, until the time came to test myself. I work in a field, that at times becomes very stressful, and I find that at those times I’m tempted to step out of my plan. Overall, I have been more conscientious about my choices even when I know they aren’t the best. I think a big part of consistency is forming habits, and that’s done over time. I won’t be critical of myself and I...
