Acute Rehabilitation

Archbold Memorial Hospital offers a variety of therapy services including Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology for patients in the acute care hospital. Therapy begins with a physician referral for these services.

Our Rehabilitation program offers these services to individuals who have a variety of diagnoses which include orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, cardiac diseases, arthritis, amputations, as well as many other illnesses that are affecting functional ability.

The main goal of acute rehab is to prepare patients for safe discharge from the acute care setting. Our highly trained and friendly staff work closely with other members of the health care team including nurses, doctors, social workers, other therapists, and dietitians to provide quality care, and to ensure an easy transition to home or other health care setting.
