Singletary Oncology Center Seeking Models for Pink Affair

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women other than skin cancer. It’s the second-leading cause of cancer death, and about one in eight women will develop the disease in their lifetime. The disease consistently remains one of the most common cancers treated at Archbold’s Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center.

On October 25, 2018, Archbold’s Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center will host the seventh annual Pink Affair, a benefit fashion show featuring local cancer survivors. A celebration honoring the models will follow the fashion show with food and live music.

“The Pink Affair is an event our cancer survivors look forward to every year,” said Debbie Beeson, Archbold patient navigator. “They really enjoy celebrating with their fellow cancer survivors and the community. We highly encourage any cancer survivor in our community, regardless of the type of cancer, to participate as a Pink Affair model. It’s such a fun and special time for each of them.”

If you or someone you know is a cancer survivor and interested in modeling for the Pink Affair, visit www.archbold.org/pinkaffair for more information, or call Debbie Beeson at (229) 403-9257.

Tickets are $35 and are available for purchase through the Archbold Foundation online or by calling (229) 228-2924. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning October 1, 2018.

Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are also available for the Pink Affair. For more information on sponsorships, contact the Archbold Foundation at (229) 228-2924.
