Archbold Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome gastroenterologist James A. Sinnott, M.D., to the hospital’s medical staff.

Dr. Sinnott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia and his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in Montserrat, Leeward Islands. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Sinnott is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.

As a gastroenterologist, he has been treating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders for 26 years, and providing part-time coverage for Archbold Gastroenterology Group for the last 24 months.

“I am looking forward to being in Thomasville full-time and being a member of the Archbold team,” said Dr. Sinnott. “I look forward to increasing the available care to the area and providing patients in Thomas and surrounding counties the quality care that they have come to expect.”

Dr. Sinnott joins gastroenterologists Louis Lee, MD and Bashar Qumseya, MD, at Archbold Gastroenterology Group. The practice is accepting new referral patients and accepts Medicare and most private insurances.
