Inpatient Services

Northside's Inpatient Program is designed for adults who are in crisis and need 24-hour observation and care for psychiatric and chemical dependency problems. Depression, anxiety, thought disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders and post-traumatic stress are among the problems that can be treated at Northside. We focus on providing the right care for the unique needs of each patient through intensive, short-term hospitalization and then returning them as soon as possible to their homes and families. Psychiatrists and their staff of specialists work together as an interdisciplinary team to meet the individual needs of the whole person: physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual.

Older Adult Services

As a result of the aging process, senior citizens can experience a variety of changes in their emotional state. Caring for elderly relatives does not have to be a burden with the help of Northside's Inpatient Program.  From depression, anxiety and agitation associated with dementia, Northside professionals enable patients and families to work together and address the special needs of the elderly. Northside's goal is to provide treatment for seniors within a therapeutic environment in which the older adult can maintain personal dignity while also regaining a sense of self and level of independence.
