The United Way of Thomas County made a generous donation to Archbold’s Feed the Fight campaign, which is a part of Archbold’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.
“Through The Truist Bank Foundation, United Way chapters across the nation have received funds to donate to local COVID-19 relief efforts where Truist Bank has a local branch,” said Rebecca Cannady, Executive Director of United Way of Thomas County. “We felt strongly that we needed to use those funds to support our front line healthcare workers, since they’re helping to keep us safe.”
SunTrust Bank and BB&T formed Truist with the shared purpose “to inspire and build better lives and communities.” “We are honored to partner with United Way and help our local heroes during this time,” said Eugene Nguyen, Branch Manager/AVP of the Thomasville Branch.
“We’re so grateful for our local United Way chapter for designating this gift for the Archbold COVID-19 Relief Fund in support of our healthcare workers,” said Vann Middleton, President of the Archbold Foundation. “Their donation will help us feed our front line staff and let them know that they are appreciated.”
