Mitchell County Hospital Names Gibbs Director of Nursing

Archbold’s Mitchell County Hospital recently named Frankie Gibbs, RN, as Director of Nursing for the 25-bed critical access hospital in Camilla, Georgia.

Gibbs joined Archbold in 1995 and worked in medical/surgical departments until 2012 before transferring to critical care. Since that time, Gibbs has served as an IMCU Nurse Manager at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville and became Critical Care Director of Nursing in 2019. She served in that role until 2021.

Gibbs graduated from Thomas Technical Institute in 1993 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 2012 she graduated from Southern Regional Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing. She is expected to earn a Master of Science degree in nursing from Thomas University in December 2022.

“I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the already amazing and dedicated team at Mitchell County Hospital. I am honored to be chosen for this role and look forward to this new chapter serving the patients of Mitchell County,” said Gibbs.

“We are so fortunate to have Frankie join our team,” said Carla Beasley, Administrator of Mitchell County Hospital. “She is truly dedicated to our patients and I look forward to working with her to continue to provide high-quality care to our community.”
