Colony Bank Donates $25,000 to Brooks County Hospital

Colony Bank in Quitman recently donated $25,000 to Archbold Memorial Hospital’s Brooks County Hospital. The gift was made possible through the state of Georgia’s Rural Hospital Tax Credit legislation, which offers a rare state income tax credit to Georgia taxpayers and C-Corporations that contribute to support the growing needs of rural and critical access hospitals throughout the state. Colony Bank’s donation was designated to be used at Brooks County Hospital in Quitman to help fund essential healthcare-related expenses.

“The new state tax credit program, along with donations from community partners, help BCH continue to provide Quitman and surrounding areas with high quality healthcare,” said Nancy Williams, Administrator at Brooks County Hospital. “We’re very grateful for the generosity of Colony Bank.”
