“It’s really, really important to do your mammograms annually, last year that tumor was not there and this year it was. If I had not gone and skipped a year I don’t know what that would have meant for my future and treatment.”

Thanks to Gina’s annual mammogram appointment doctors were able to detect an early breast cancer diagnosis. Under her treatment plan Gina chose to undergo a bilateral mastectomy with follow up care at the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center.
