Our leadership team has been monitoring the developments of Hurricane Dorian. At this time, it is too soon to know how we will be impacted in our service area. We have been working diligently to ensure we are prepared for the event, should our facilities be impacted.
We will continue planning and meeting over the long weekend, and will update you as soon as new information is ready to share. You can find current information, as it is available, by visiting www.archbold.org/EmergencyManagement.
Leaders will also communicate with managers in their respective areas, as needed, for further assistance. In turn, each department should review their emergency response plans now and ensure plans are in place to have communication with staff over the next few days.
Another reminder: this is also an excellent opportunity to sign up for Everbridge, our mass communication system that allows you to receive important messages via text, phone call, email and pager. For employees that don’t receive work emails on their cell phones, this is a very important tool to stay connected and informed, especially in emergency situations. To register for Everbridge visit: https://member.everbridge.net/index/892807736723397#/login
We will continue to communicate with you as we get more information.
