Healthcare Insurance Exchange Assistance and Information Sessions in Thomasville

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Open enrollment for consumers seeking insurance coverage on the Healthcare Insurance Exchange for 2015 begins this Saturday, November 15.

To help community members find insurance options that best meet their unique healthcare and budget needs, information sessions on the Healthcare Insurance Exchange will be held in Thomasville. Licensed federal insurance navigators will host a sign up and informational session on Saturday, November 15, in the East Tower classrooms at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Navigators will answer questions and provide guidance on selecting the best affordable plan for a consumer’s individual needs and will help attendees evaluate their eligibility and inform them of available subsidies. They will also be available to guide consumers through the application process.

Those taking advantage of the application assistance should bring all social security numbers, as well as tax return information for each household member (pay stubs and W-2 forms are acceptable), and policy numbers for any current health plan that covers individuals in the household.

The information and sign-up session is open to the public from 10am-4pm on a walk-in basis.
