Archbold Names Physicians of the Year

Archbold Medical Center recently held their second annual Physicians of the Year banquet on April 18th.

The award winners were nominated and chosen by their medical staff peers. A Physician of the Year was selected for several categories including hospital leadership qualities. Archbold’s system hospital winners won awards for “most engaged.”

·Obstetrician/Gynecologist Melissa Bruhn, MD—Physician of the Year, Outstanding Leadership

·Family physician Mark Hudson, DO—Grady General Hospital’s Most Engaged Physician

·Pediatrician Dinesh Patel, MD—Mitchell County Hospital’s Most Engaged Physician

·General surgeon Greg Patterson, MD—Physician of the Year, Outstanding Community Leadership

·Nephrologist Raul Santos, MD—Physician of the Year, Patient Advocacy

·Family physician Rachel Velez, DO—Brooks County Hospital’s Most Engaged Physician

·Emergency medicine physician Martha Ward, MD—Physician of the Year, Outstanding Medical Knowledge
