Archbold Names Bates Long-Term Care Director

Archbold Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Tina Bates, RN, MSN, to Director of Long-Term Care.

Bates earned an Associate Degree in nursing from Darton College. She later earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s degree in nursing from Thomas University. Bates obtained a Nursing Home Administrator’s license in 2019.

She began her career at Archbold in the Labor and Delivery nursing unit, then became the Subacute Care Coordinator and Director of Utilization and Social Services. Bates most recently was the administrator at Mitchell Convalescent Center.

“Tina has been a leader in our organization for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to this new role,” said Jamie Womack, Archbold Vice President of Critical Access/Post-Acute Services. “Her extensive knowledge of Archbold and our long-term care services will help us continue to provide high-quality care to our communities.”

In her new role, Bates will oversee Glenn-Mor Nursing Home in Thomasville, Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla and the new nursing home in Grady County scheduled to open in 2023.
