In response to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Archbold Foundation has established the Archbold COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Donations made to the relief fund will support the growing capital and operating needs across the Archbold system. All gifts made to the fund will be used exclusively to help purchase essential capital and operating support related to the pandemic in surrounding areas.
“We have witnessed our Archbold team members step up in extraordinary ways,” said Vann Middleton, President of the Archbold Foundation. “Staff members are going above and beyond the call of duty to care for our patients and protect our community.”
Funds will be used to purchase essential medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE), testing supplies and equipment to speed up COVID-19 testing and results, materials for sewing of masks to protect our frontline healthcare team members, and additional critical needs for frontline staff.
“One of the most frequent questions we continue to receive is ‘How can we help feed the front line staff’, Middleton added. “Donations to the COVID-19 Relief Fund will be a vehicle for us to purchase gift cards and meal vouchers to be given to our staff that can be redeemed at locally owned restaurants in our community”
