Archbold’s new North Tower—Public Dedication this Sunday

A public dedication and open house for the new North Tower—a 247,000 square foot addition to Archbold Memorial Hospital—is scheduled to take place this Sunday, April 15, at 1:30pm.

U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss will speak at the event.

Attendees will be treated to a guided tour of the brand new facility, including Archbold’s new Emergency Department, which rivals the finest emergency departments in the nation for patient comfort, efficiency and service; Surgery Department, home of six state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with the best integrated technology in the southeast; and 114 brand new private patient rooms, including a new intensive care unit and intermediate care unit.

The public dedication marks Archbold’s largest capital investment in patient care and safety in the history of the region since the original hospital was built in the 1920’s.
