Archbold Memorial Hospital Hosts Ask the Doctors
Friday, October 17, 2014
It’s common to hear a lot about breast cancer in the month of October. But what’s less common is the opportunity to ask a panel of five specialists your questions about breast cancer—all at the same time.
As part of Archbold’s continuing Health Talk free community lecture series, five Archbold physicians will host the third annual Breast Cancer: Ask the Doctors in the hospital’s Williams Auditorium on October 21.
The program will consist of a brief lecture on breast cancer, followed by a longer interactive segment where attendees can ask questions of the multi-specialty physician panel. The program was created to be similar to the popular daytime television show, The Doctors.
The featured panel includes radiation oncologist Steven Johnson, MD; medical oncologist Amanda D. May, MD; Obstetrician and Gynecologist Robinson H. Stubley, III, MD; radiologist Mary Anne Bullard-Grayson, MD; and plastic surgeon Courtney G. Houston, MD.
“This is a very special opportunity to learn about breast cancer as well as the chance for unique insight—and answers—from a variety of medical perspectives from those who deal with cancer on a very frequent basis,” said Dr. Johnson.
The lecture and interactive panel discussion is offered free as a clinical outreach effort to uphold Archbold’s core value of Community Benefit.
The lecture will begin at 6 p.m. and be held in the Williams Auditorium in the East Tower at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Dinner will be served. Pre-registration is requested; call 229.584.5520 or visit www.archbold.org.
