Feeling Good After the Gym

Posted on

Hey y'all! So, let me update you on what’s been going on the last two weeks. They have been a bit hectic!

I moved into a new place and I'm still getting everything in order. And goodness, people, let me tell y'all, I got too much stuff!

My dad is still in the hospital, but he is very slowly making progress. I try and go see him as often as I can. He says I'm who motivates him and makes him feel better.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the gym one week due to all the crazy of my life, but I did always get in a good amount of walking. I do a minimum of 3 to 5 miles a day. And with all the moving, picking and lifting things, I did get a workout in.

This week, however, I was able to make it in to BodyTrac. Although on Monday I came in limping due to rolling my ankle. And it’s the one that happens to have a screw to stabilize it to keep it from rolling. So it was a painful mess. But, I didn't let it stop me from going in and I'm so glad!

By the time I left the gym I was actually walking a lot better, and I felt 10 times better! It never ceases to amaze me how just going to the gym and getting in a good work out makes me feel so much better. Or how it just makes my days go so much smoother. Having my amazing support/gym family helps too!

As a matter of fact, when I walked through the BodyTrac doors Monday, I was greeted by, "Yay! You made it!" It scared the dickens out of me at first, and made me smile like crazy afterwards! I swear I love my gym family! They are all truly amazing people. Now I'm finally getting back on track.
