Archbold Medical Center held their third annual Physician Awards Banquet on March 22nd at Glen Arven Country Club. Award winners were nominated and chosen by their medical staff peers for the categories of outstanding community benefit, leadership and patient advocacy.
Additionally, hospital staff nominated and voted on People's Choice Award winners, awards presented to a physician at each Archbold hospital.
Camilla family medicine physician, Stephen Rubendall, MD, was named by his medical staff peers as Mitchell County Hospital’s People's Choice Award winner. Dr. Rubendall joined the Archbold medical staff in 2006. He practices at Archbold’s Mitchell County Hospital and Medical Group of Mitchell County in Camilla.
“Dr. Rubendall has been heavily involved in our community for over 13 years,” said Carla Beasley, RN, MSN, Mitchell County Hospital Director of Nursing. “He is eager to help and wants the hospital to succeed, and goes above and beyond for our staff and patients every day. We’re proud to recognize him as our MCH People's Choice Award winner.”
