Archbold Medical Center held their third annual Physician Awards Banquet on March 22nd at Glen Arven Country Club. Award winners were nominated and chosen by their medical staff peers for the categories of outstanding community benefit, leadership and patient advocacy.
Additionally, hospital staff nominated and voted on People's Choice Award winners, awards presented to a physician at each Archbold hospital.
Quitman family medicine physician, Frantz Felix, MD, was named by his medical staff peers as Brooks County Hospital’s People's Choice Award winner. Dr. Felix joined the Archbold medical staff in 2013. He currently practices at Primary Care of Southwest Georgia in Quitman.
“Dr. Felix is always a team player,” said June Furney, assistant administrator/director of nursing at Brooks County Hospital. “He is committed to his patients and to our hospital and community. We’re proud to recognize him as BCH’s People's Choice Award winner."
