Archbold Memorial in Thomasville is our most advanced facility, recognized
for its enhanced capabilities to treat cases of trauma, stroke, and cardiac
emergencies. Archbold Memorial is proud to be recognized as a
Primary Stroke Center. When someone has a stroke, every second counts. Our team works quickly
to evaluate patients and get them the treatment they need, fast. We also
work closely with our other emergency departments and surrounding hospitals
to ensure care is fast, organized, so patients can recover faster.
Archbold Memorial is also a Level II Emergency Cardiac Care Center, approved by the Georgia Department of Public Health. If you or someone you love has a heart attack, we’re ready to help—fast. As a Level II hospital, we’re able to do special heart procedures called interventional cardiac catheterizations to help open blocked arteries and save lives.
Archbold is designated as a Level III Trauma Center. As a Level III Trauma Center, Archbold Memorial is able to accept patients from other facilities for life-saving treatment. Our trauma center has the ability to assess a patient, resuscitate, perform surgical intervention, provide intensive care and stabilization of injured patients, and emergency operations.
Archbold emergency departments at Archbold Grady in Cairo, Archbold Mitchell in Camilla and Archbold Brooks in Quitman are a part of the Archbold system of hospitals and emergency departments and patients can expect the same high-quality care in these facilities all while staying close to home. Visitor Information
For emergency and trauma services, our dedicated and compassionate emergency room staff is here to help you heal. Patients at the emergency department may have one designated visitor in the waiting area and at the bedside as appropriate, or two if the patient is a minor.
