C N A Training Program – Start working for Archbold as a part-time Student in our C N A program February 24, 2020 through April 26, 2020, and upon graduation and certification as a CN A, begin working fulltime at one of our nursing home facilities.
Join Archbold’s team by being chosen as one of the students for the upcoming ten (10) week part-time Certified Nurse Aide training program. This program is partially funded by a federal grant so there is no cost to you for tuition, books, uniforms or the CN A Certification Exam fee. Classes are held at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital three evenings a week (M, T, TH) 5p - 9:30p and on five Saturdays 7a- 11:30a. Classes cannot be missed. Within a few weeks of graduation, you will be eligible to sit for the State of GA C N A Certification Exam. When certified, you will be assigned to a fulltime CN A position at Archbold’s Glenn Mor Nursing Home in Thomasville, Mitchell County Convalescent in Camilla GA or Pelham Parkway in Pelham GA.
High School Diploma or GED required; must be able to meet/pass all employment requirements as well as qualify under Federal grant guidelines. Will be paid for hours while a part-time student; and after obtaining C N A certification, pay will increase and position will become fulltime, therefore, must be able to work fulltime 12-hour shifts, day 7a-7p or night 7p-7a (3 days one week/4 days the next) , 84 hours per pay period.

Your application will be reviewed and if you are going to be considered for the program, you will be notified by EMAIL. You will be expected to respond to the email in a timely manner. After that you will be contacted by phone and begin the process of acceptance which takes about 4 to 6 weeks depending on how quickly you are able to meet the requirements.
You may not be enrolled in any other college while in this program. You may not already have a degree or technical certification and be eligible for this program. You must meet requirements of WIOA to be considered for the program. Your application must be completed accurately and completely in order to be considered for the program. Work experience is very important.
