From state-of-the-art imaging technology and laboratory services to outpatient rehabilitation, Brooks County Hospital offers a robust array of convenient outpatient services for our patients.
Laboratory
- Accredited by the College of American Pathologists
- Licensed by the State of Georgia’s Department of Community Health
- Lab Staff includes 7 Laboratory Technologists, 1 Laboratory Technician and 2 Phlebotomists
- Tests performed 24 hours a day utilizing On-Call staff during Night and Weekend Hours
- In-House Testing Menu includes: Lipid Testing; Cardiac Testing; PSA(Prostate-Specific Antigen) Testing;TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone) Testing; HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin) Testing; Pregnancy Testing
- Tests not performed in house are referenced to John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital Laboratory with mail-out to other CLIA approved reference labs if needed
