Archbold Radiology Wins Back-to-Back Awards

Archbold Radiology Wins Back-to-Back Awards

Archbold Radiology has recently earned the HeartFlow CT Quality Award for Excellence in Coronary Imaging for both the third and fourth quarters of 2024.

The HeartFlow Fractional Flow Reserve Computed Tomography (FFR-CT) is a cutting-edge, non-invasive 3D imaging test that combines coronary CT angiography with advanced computer modeling to assess the severity of coronary artery disease. This technology helps predict the potential benefits of revascularization procedures—such as coronary stents and bypass surgery—and plays a crucial role in guiding treatment decisions for patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease.

“We are proud that this test is making a difference in our patients’ lives,” said Becky Jense, Director of Radiology at Archbold. “To have launched this program in July 2024 and already received this award twice is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our staff to delivering high-quality patient care.”

Only 20% of healthcare organizations receive this award, further underscoring the achievement.

“This program enables Archbold Radiology and the Heart and Vascular department to collaborate more efficiently, ensuring patients receive timely care,” said Chris Newman, Vice President of Clinical and Support Services at Archbold. “Additionally, it has expanded the range of non-invasive treatment options available to our community.”

Archbold Radiology continues to lead the way in providing state-of-the-art imaging and radiology services to residents of South Georgia. A wide range of advanced imaging options is available, including X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine testing, 3D mammography, and more.
