Tina Bates, RN, MSN, director of long-term care at Archbold, was named President of the Georgia Health Care Association’s southwest region during the organization’s spring business meetings last week.
Bates will serve alongside seven other regional presidents of the not-for-profit organization that represents long-term and post-acute care providers throughout the state.
“GHCA works closely with government agencies and other trade and professional associations in developing, amending, and implementing sound legislation, regulatory policies, and standards of care,” according to the organization’s website.
“At each of our Archbold Living facilities, we are committed to offering our residents the best care possible in an environment that truly feels like home,” said Bates. “In this position, I will have the opportunity to help make this goal a reality for the vulnerable throughout our region and increase access to care for those who need it most.”
Bates will serve alongside Adrian Lewis, vice president, and Angela High, secretary/treasurer, for the 2025-2026 term.
