Archbold recently named Stacey Hancock Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer following the retirement of long-time vice president Zach Wheeler.
Hancock has over 32 years of healthcare human resources experience and related fields. She came to Archbold most recently from Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center, Spalding Regional Hospital and Sylvan Grove Hospital, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources since 2016.
“Stacey’s extensive experience in human resources and her knowledge of the importance of talent acquisition and employee relations will be a valuable asset for Archbold,” said Darcy Craven, Archbold president and CEO. “We are pleased to welcome Stacey to our leadership team.”
Hancock earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University in Virginia. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and currently holds the board chairman position for the Georgia Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (GHA).
Archbold is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 650 patient beds. Archbold’s flagship hospital, Archbold Memorial, is a 264-bed hospital located in Thomasville, Georgia. System hospitals, also in Georgia, are Archbold Brooks in Quitman, Archbold Grady in Cairo, and Archbold Mitchell in Camilla.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity with Archbold and becoming a part of the Thomasville community,” said Hancock. “I’m excited to work with such a talented group of employees and an organization that is known for providing this region with high-quality, patient-focused healthcare.”
