Archbold Welcomes Surgeon Sparks

Archbold is pleased to welcome general and thoracic surgeon Preston Sparks, DO, to the medical staff.

Sparks graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and commissioned as an Infantry Officer before attending medical school at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency in general surgery and thoracic surgery at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center and East Carolina University. He completed a fellowship in robotic thoracic surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sparks has recently left the Army from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His military service includes deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sparks joins Greg Patterson, MD; Timothy Daniel, MD; Frederick Johnson, MD; and Craig Yokley, MD, at VITA Vascular/VITA Surgery in Thomasville, Georgia.
