Archbold Announces New Don at Northside

Archbold Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Angela Thomas, RN, MSN, to the Director of Nursing at Archbold’s Northside Center for Behavioral and Psychiatric Care.

Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in History in 2007 from Georgia Southwestern State University. With this degree, she worked in various supervisory and management positions with the National Park Service and southwest Georgia colleges. In 2013, Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; in 2019, she earned a Master’s in Nursing Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. Thomas has been an employee at Archbold since 2013, where she has worked as a nurse on various units and served as the manager for 5 North for the past two years.

“We are thrilled to have Angela as our new Director of Nursing at Northside,” said David Griner, administrator at Northside. “She has served in various capacities since joining Archbold and we’re excited for her to bring her management experience to our facility to better serve our patients.”
