Painting Unveiling at Archbold’s Cancer Center

Last month, family and friends of the Vann family gathered at Archbold’s Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center to celebrate the unveiling of a painting celebrating the life of Ann Vann.

The painting, commissioned by the Vann family, is located in the infusion center waiting area and was painted by local artist Suzanna Winton. Titled Never Give Up, the painting is a reminder to all patients and their families to always remain positive and determined during their cancer treatment plan.

“Ann Vann lived a full life and was instrumental in helping the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center gain access to cold cap therapy for cancer patients,” said Vann Middleton, President of the Archbold Foundation. “She was the very first person in Thomasville to try cold capping as way to reduce the chances of hair loss during chem
