Nurses Sign Apprenticeship Agreements With Archbold

Fifteen Southern Regional Technical College nursing students recently signed apprenticeship agreements with Archbold Memorial Hospital.

The apprenticeship students, who are also participating in Archbold’s nurse extern program, will gain practical experience in a healthcare setting to advance their training and education.

By signing the apprenticeship agreements, these nursing students will have access to grant funding that will help with the cost of school and work-related expenses.

“This partnership with SRTC allows these students to gain hands-on experience during their externship and see what it’s like to work at Archbold,” said Kasey Smith, MSN, RN, Director of Nursing Education. “We are committed to helping nursing students gain as much experience as possible and help them grow as nurses. We are so excited to see what these students achieve in the future and we’re so glad to be a part of it.”
