Archbold Brooks Names Furney Administrator

Archbold’s Archbold Brooks recently named June Furney, RN, MSN, as administrator of the critical access hospital located in Quitman, Georgia.

Furney began her career at Archbold in 1986 as a receptionist at the specialty clinic in Quitman. Furney went on to earn an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia in 1995 and became a registered nurse in 1996. After becoming an RN, Furney transferred to Archbold Brooks and worked as staff RN and charge nurse. Furney continued to further her education later earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing and a Master’s of Science degree in nursing both from Valdosta State University. Furney has been serving as Director of Nursing since 2013 and Assistant Administrator of Archbold Brooks since 2019.
