Archbold Receives $20,000 Donation Through Georgia Heart Program

Archbold recently received a $20,000 donation made by Rainey Finance Company. The donation was made through Georgia HEART which administers the Georgia Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program. Donations made through Georgia HEART help rural and critical access hospitals increase funding and provide care to thousands of Georgians. Archbold President and CEO, Darcy Craven, and Archbold Foundation President, Vann Middleton, were present as the check was presented by Mike McPherson with Rainey Finance Company.

“We care for our community and we want to give back to that community that we serve alongside. We all get sick from time to time and need the care and support from hospitals like Archbold,” said Mike McPherson, Rainey Finance Company Insurance Risk Manager.

“On behalf of everyone at Archbold we are grateful for this most generous gift from Mr. Bob Rainey and the entire team at Rainey Finance. All contributions made through the Georgia Heart Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program go directly to help benefit the hospital and its mission of providing the highest quality of care in a cost effective manner to the citizens of south Georgia and north Florida,” said Vann Middleton, Archbold Foundation President.
