We love Dr. Rubendall!
Stories from Doctor's Day 2015
My mother lived four hours away and was staying with us for two weeks. She needed a doctor while she was here because of a fall she experienced while at my home. I called Dr. Rubendalls' office and explained what we needed. They gave her an appointment and got her in to see him right away. Now at this time my mother was 87 and had never been to anyone except her doctor, however when he came in to see her he was so kind and she felt at ease with him. She needed her big toe nail removed because of the damage to it. He sat down on the floor in front of her and worked on the toe nail. She thought it was so special for him to do that. He reminded her of her own doctor who makes house calls. When she went home she told everybody how kind he was to her. He even asked me about her after she went home. I appreciate how she was treated. Thank you, Dr. Rubendall.

All of the doctors I work with at MCH are good doctors, but Dr. Rubendall and Dr. Felix really stand out because they not only listen to what the nurses have to say, but they trust our judgments as long as it’s not detrimental to the patients. They both are open to our suggestions as nurses. That is very important because it takes teamwork to make our patients happy. They both really care about the well-being of their patients.
