When I started working at Archbold, there were only three floors on the West Wing. The hospital operated off one boiler room. Each ward had four patients and we had primarily semi-private rooms.

Our uniforms were a lot different—women in the housekeeping department wore dresses, caps and aprons, and the men wore bowties.

It’s obvious that things have changed at a lot over the 46 years that I’ve worked at Archbold, but our hospital has always been a great place to work. Archbold cares about our community, our patients and our employees a lot, and that’s why I’m proud to have worked here for so long.
