The growth of our organization over the four decades I’ve been at Archbold is nothing short of impressive.
In the 1980’s, our Emergency Department became a trauma center and it remains the only Level II trauma center in South Georgia today. I’ve witnessed expansion of the hospital to accommodate the very best physicians and specialties that are so important to our region.
The Singletary Oncology Center has provided world-class cancer care locally since 1984. The Loudermilk Heart and Vascular Center opened in the early 2000’s offering state-of-the-art heart care and interventional cardiology that has saved countless lives in our region.
Without Archbold, South Georgia simply wouldn’t have access to the essential healthcare services that are a viable part of our community today.
