Mitchell County Hospital recently named Pam Cornwell the 2012 Employee of the Year during the organization's annual employee appreciation spring picnic.
Cornwell began her tenure with the Archbold system in 1994 as a registered nurse in the hospital’s emergency room. She was later promoted to her current position, quality assurance coordinator for the hospital.
Cornwell was named MCH's 2012 Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter for going above and beyond in demonstrating her commitment to patients and the organization. As Employee of the Quarter, Cornwell was one of four MCH employees eligible to win the hospital's Employee of the Year award.
"Pam is known for her integrity and for setting a good example for our employees," said Mark Kimball, MCH administrator. "She exhibits everything we look for in a MCH employee, and we are proud to honor Pam as Employee of the Year."
