Friday, October 28, 2011
Patients in the Pelham community will now have access to a convenient new primary care clinic which represents the latest commitment to Mitchell County by the Archbold system.
Scheduled to open this week, the Archbold Pelham Primary Care Clinic will make its home at 250 Blanton Street, near the Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.
Nurse Practitioner Michelle (Missy) Edwards will work in the practice full-time along with Stephen Rubendall, MD, and Josh Reams, MD, who will see patients on a part-time basis.
“I’m from this area, so it means a lot to serve the people in this community,” said Edwards.
The clinic is a complete family practice and will see patients of all ages—children, adults and geriatrics—for wellness checks, treatment of chronic diseases and women’s health needs.
“The Archbold Pelham Primary Care Clinic will meet a serious need in this community by offering a treatment option close to home for adults with chronic conditions,” said Edwards.
To create an efficient, attractive and professional environment for patients and staff, the newly renovated building adds an additional exam room to make a total of six, a newly updated nurses’ station and new medical equipment.
The clinic’s hours will be 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. To make an appointment, call the Archbold Pelham Primary Care Clinic at 229-294-2437.
