Is ArchHIE the same as the patient portal I use at another doctor’s office?
No. Many other physician offices have their own patient portals that require a separate log-in and password. In some cases, you may be able to access results from the same tests in different portals but the portals are different.
Can I communicate with my doctor through ArchHIE?
ArchHIE provides safe and secure access to your hospital medical information and also serves as a landing page for many other patient portals.
Once you sign up for ArchHIE, you will have access to the Archbold physician directory. Use this tool to search for your physician. Once you find your physician in the directory, you will see a link that allows you to connect to your doctor’s patient portal.
If you would like to speak directly with your doctor or the office staff about another topic, please call them directly. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 immediately.
Is my information secure?
Archbold does not sell or rent any personal information we receive through your use of the ArchHIE Patient Portal. ArchHIE has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information under our control. These measures include encryption of data using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system, and using a secured messaging service when we send you personal information electronically. Despite these measures, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from us via ArchHIE by Internet or e-mail cannot be guaranteed.
How can I sign up for ArchHIE?
If you have recently been a patient in the hospital, you may be invited via e-mail to access the portal.
If you have not been an Archbold patient recently, or if Archbold doesn’t have your current email address on file, you may access ArchHIE by following the directions below.
Step 1: Visit www.archbold.org.
Step 2: Click on the patient portal icon located directly below the ArchHIE logo.
Step 3: Click on “Request Access” and read and agree to the consent and authorization terms.
Step 4: Fill out the online request for assistance or you may contact Archbold’s Medical Records Department by calling 229.227.5050, if you need assistance.
Step 5: You will receive two separate emails (one with a link and one with a validation code) within three business days. Once received, follow the instructions within the emails to complete the creation of your patient portal account.
I submitted my application but I haven't received a response.
We try to address applications as quickly as possible, but the approval process can take as long as 2-3 business days in some cases. Can I use ArchHIE from a smart phone or tablet?
Yes, however, your initial account setup needs to be completed from a personal computer or laptop.
It has been more than three business days and I still haven't received a response.
Once your application is approved, we will send you two emails with instructions for completing the registration process. Some email clients block emails from unfamiliar senders. Check your spam filter to see if these emails have been blocked.
To prevent this from happening in the future, you can add “connect_noreply@mobilemd.com” and patientportal@archbold.org" to your list of safe senders in your mail settings. If you would like assistance in adjusting these settings, you can submit a support request (link to patientportal@archbold.org or call the Archbold Health Information Management Department 229.227.5050.
About My Test Results
What test results will I be able to see?
ArchHIE offers patients electronic access to many of their test results. Some results, however, are not available in this portal because of their sensitive nature. Your physician will review the results of all tests with you individually.
I don’t see the results I’m looking for. What should I do?
Contact our patient portal team at patientportal@archbold.orgor call the Archbold Health Information Management Department 229.227.5050. Please do not send personal information via email.
How can I access older results?
ArchHIE offers access to lab and radiology results and dictated summaries about your hospital stay from March 2013 onward. If you need to request older records, please call the Archbold Health Information Management Department 229.227.5050.
Using the Portal
How do I log into the portal as a returning user?
Returning users should access the portal at www.archbold.org/patientportal or by clicking on the link near the top of this page.
How will I receive messages from the portal?
ArchHIE will never send health information to you via email. Instead, you will receive alert messages to the email address you provided during registration. These alerts will let you know that there is a message waiting for you in the portal. You must use the link provided and log into with your username and password to retrieve your messages.
How do I export or send my information from inside the Patient Portal?
When you have selected a document or result , select the “download” or “send” button to transmit a PDF copy of your results.You may download a copy to your home pc or you may send a copy of the result/document to a select user in the Patient Portal.
How do I change my password?
To change your password, log into ArchHIE Patient Portal, click the “Change Password” link on the ArchHIE home page). You will be prompted to enter your old password, and to confirm your new password by typing it twice. Your new password will be set when you click OK.
How do I change my address/phone number/email address?
To update your personal information, log into ArchHIE Patient Portal, click the “Profile” link on the left side of the ArchHIE home page. This will bring up your User Information page. Click the “Edit User” button at the bottom of this page, and you will be able to change your date of birth, address, phone numbers, and email address.
I’m locked out of ArchHIE. How do I get back in?
To unlock your account, you may use the “Forgot your password” link. The Forgot Your Password link is located beneath the username and Password fields. You will be asked to answer the three(3) security challenge questions correct to reset a new password .
If you did not set up or cannot remember the correct answers to your security challenge questions, you may contact Archbold Health Information Department at 229.227.5050 or email patientportal@archbold.org.
Remember, passwords are case sensitive.
I forgot my password/username. How do I get a new one?
