Archbold Corporation

The Archbold Corporation began in 1923 when John F. “Jack” Archbold decided to donate, in its entirety, the financial resources to build Archbold Memorial in Thomasville in memory of his father. Mr. Archbold and several local citizens started the Corporation so that community members and hospital supporters could be involved in decisions made about the hospital, including the election of board members.

Every January, eligible members are voted in by the Archbold Medical Center Board of Trustees and are thus considered lifetime members.

Members of the Corporation meet to confirm the election of new Trustees and to receive news of Archbold Medical Center throughout the year. To learn more about how you can make a gift and become a Corporation member, please contact the Foundation office.
