Tree of Lights

2024 Ceremony of Lights

Archbold Foundation's annual Tree of Lights was held on December 3, 2024, on the front lawn of the hospital. TC Federal Bank, a great corporate citizen in and around Thomasville, was the presenting sponsor for the eighth year in a row. Their ongoing commitment once again ensured that proceeds from the event benefited Archbold Hospice.

The ceremonious tree lighting was done in memory of Dr. Oscar Mims by his daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Richard Parker, with each light on the tree representing individuals who were honored or remembered through a donation made to the event. Guests enjoyed holiday music, s'mores, hot chocolate, decorating ornaments, and visit from Santa Claus!

The Archbold Foundation and Archbold's Board of Trustees wish to thank the donors who so generously gave to the 2024 Tree of Lights and to recognize those who were honored and those memorialized during this special event. Over $30,000 was raised to benefit Archbold Hospice, so physicians, staff and volunteers can continue to deliver compassionate care to patients who are facing the end of life and provide informational and emotional support for their families.
